Comfortis Plus 2.3kg – 4.5kg

Comfortis (spinosad) is the first FDA-approved, chewable, flavoured tablet which kills fleas and prevents flea infestation on dog’s for a full month. Comfortis is safe to use on older dogs and puppies from 14 weeks of age and weighing more than 2 kg’s.

Comfortis has also shown to help clear up and prevent Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD)

Dosage:

Is given orally once a month, at the recommended minimum dosage of 30mg/kg

One tablet will cover one dog weighing between 2.3 – 4.5 kg’s and contains 810mg of Spinosad. Administer Comfortis with or after food for maximum effectiveness.

If vomiting occurs within an hour of administration, re-dose with another full dose. This is a common side effect if the tablet is administered without food.

Treatment with Comfortis may begin at any time of the year, preferably starting one month before fleas become active. It is recommended though that Comfortis be used throughout the year to prevent a fleas infestation from occurring.

Warnings:

This product is not suitable for dogs that suffer from epilepsy.

Vomiting may occur but decreases with repeated doses.

Use with caution in breeding females.

Do not use this product in conjunction with other products containing Ivermectin
